Square Enix announced that its story-driven Final Fantasy fighting game and spiritual successor to Ehrgeiz, Dissidia Final Fantasy, will hit North America in Q2 2009 - exclusively for PSP.
Already available in Japan, it sports several memorable characters from the Final Fantasy franchise, including Kefka, Terra, Golbez, Cloud, and thrusts them into a fighting arena of epic proportions. In addition to ad-hoc support for facing off against friends and exchanging record-storing friend cards as well as items, the game features battle mechanics crafted by Kingdom Hearts designers.
